Oh boy what did I do!? So I had a visitor this week and today we went to the grocery store. Long story short, I saw this 6”peace lily for $15 and being the hoarder that I am… my friend bought it for me after I contemplated for 15 minutes. 😂 Peace lilies have never thrilled me but for some reason I could not leave this baby behind. Since it’s a grocery store plant, I gave her a shower to wash any gnats or pollen off, and sprayed with diluted alcohol and hydrogen peroxide. I also watered with dehumidifier water and hydrogen peroxide to kill any eggs that might be hiding in the soil. She’s beautiful and I can’t wait to watch her grow! New spot for some of my babies 🤗 East facing window, in our sunroom! Just gotta get my blinds back up 🙃 I hope they do well 🤞🏽 it’s about 95 degrees in here now 🥵 I keep a fan on when I’m out here. They are by a window I keep open 24/7. Maybe watering more often I’m assuming but the heat? The heat not gonna harm them, will it? Overdue Watering Day With my downwards moods lately & trying to dry out everyone to battle the last of the fungus gnats (they're almost gone), I'm feeling like a bad #plantmom. Everyone's so thirsty. Even my #castironplant got a yellow leaf. Several others lost leaves as well, some extra crunchy. Oh well. Life finds a way. Just glad I was able to fit 16 into this bin at once, with 10 others soaking in their water dishes.
