Last week I jokingly told Janai that she owed me a welcome gift for finally making on #TeamGreg and well today a surprise package showed up from none other than Plant Proper with plants HAND SELECTED by Janai herself!!! As someone who has ordered….just a few (everyone go with it) plants online… I have to say that if you see a plant on Plant Proper’s website that you like, and you’re perhaps worried about shipping, that you have absolutely nothing to worry about! Plant Proper sent 3 plants individually wrapped and they arrived without damage. You may then think to yourself, “Sure RJG they packed them well, but were the plants healthy and in good shape?” and as you can see in my pictures the answer is again unequivocally yes! I ordered plants from a new nursery. Winter plant buys are the best because seasonal depression is real plus had some pretty difficult things happen in the last week or so and I do social work for a living. These beauties were shipped from Florida and I purchased winter protection. My Philodendron Prince of Orange and Philodendron Birkin arrived today and they were in wonderful shape! Beautifully packaged and they arrived in stunning shape! I would highly recommend Gabriella Plants! #NewPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy

New photos and a new name! ✍🏻 Oscar Wilde, as this plant has gone in to jail through no fault of his own 🌿 I live in the town the real Oscar Wilde was jailed on the 6th April 1895 for being who he was, a gay man. Said jail was put up for sale by the government body that owns it in 2016. Locals have campaigned for the last 6 years that the space should be an arts building, as we don’t have much in the way of dedicated spaces for that round here, but they want to sell it off to build flats around the protected cell… But to add to the protest and add to the sites value, Banksy added his latest piece on the outside wall of the building. He confirmed it on his Instagram with a Bob Ross style video, and it’s worth checking out because of how funny the parody is 🤣 It’s an incredibly cool piece of art, of Wilde escaping the prison with a rope made of his work, with a type writer hanging as the weight at the end. I don’t really know why I’ve gone on this tangent, other than it’s the only interesting thing about where I live!! New Additions + #WishListPlants #SpringIntoSummer Tropicals (tropicals.com) had a booth at the #botanicalgardens it was an interesting experience.
