Don’t mind the mess behind the plant. I took a picture during a gathering for my birthday (belated) last night. Aside from celebrating myself, I wanted to celebrate this new bloom by taking the plant off the shelf for my guests to marvel at. I must say, Yoshi is the most dramatic plant under my care. Right on watering day if I don’t do it first thing in the morning, this plant will literally “play dead” until I not only do a regular water but also bottom water. After sucking the bottom watering bowl dry, Yoshi will perk right back up and look greener than ever. Seeing this bloom both relieves me and fills me with pride. Some effort should yield me a season’s worth of groceries and laughs to boot. 💚 #IndoorGardening #NewBlooms #DramaticPlants #Eggplant

I am absolutely obsessed with my fake Christmas cactus. That’s probably not the actual name but oh my stars it’s gorgeous! I found her at my local grocery store a few weeks ago with no blooms and she’s exploded! I will be quite sad when she isn’t blooming like this. Omg!! Some of you may remember me mentioning my Alocasia wentii is blooming! Well this morning I came to see it’s opened up a bit and I can finally smell it and it smells absolutely sweet and divine. Kind of like… BUBBLEGUM! 🫧🍬 no joke! I never imagined it would smell like that!! Take a look at it now! Also it seems it’ll be having two or three more blooms coming out! end of summer blooms ✨🌿🌸🌱 I love starting my mondays with gorgeous flowers around every corner ! It truly makes the Monday scaries, disappear 🤭 my mom brought home three new orchids 🫣 they are gorgeous to look at but they make me so nervous, my mom tends to overwater/over love things but she did fairly good with our last one, which is actually still alive in our greenhouse outside, but no blooms on it. If anyone has any care tips for overwintering or just keeping it alive till it blooms again! Please enlighten me!
