#brunchataudreys Happy Thursday everyone! I hope everyone is doing well. 🌞 I ordered a Zeylanica Snake Plant from the #gregplantshop via Altman Plants that was delivered yesterday! It's way nicer than the actual picture and much taller! So tall in fact that one of the leaves accidentally got folded down into the top of the box during shipping and it broke the tip off. No big deal it's still a beauty! It won't hurt me as much when I chop it and prop it. Little known fact about Snake Plants... once the tip breaks off of one of the leaves, that leaf stops growing. It won't die, it just won't grow any taller. I usually end up cutting that leaf off as close to the base as possible, which allows the energy that was given to that leaf to be used to produce new pups. Which is what's happened every single time I've cut a leaf off. New pups shortly appear. I am also waiting on 2 Watch Chain plants which will be here today!!! Plant mail is the best mail! Am I right? And for a big bonus the package is bigger than my mailbox so they have to deliver it to my door!! #WhatTheSuccWednesday #WhereIsWhatTheSuccWednesday Happy Hump 🐫 Day! *whoot whoot!* 🎉 Photos 2-5 are my repots from this past weekend. 🌿 1- my #PlantCorner on our screened-in porch, out back. It’s just so nice to see all my plants just co-existing with one another! *FUN FACT*: I’ve heard that plants placed next to each other tend to do better, & actually prefer to be around each other. It’s almost like they thrive on each others company & vibes 🤭🤷🏻‍♀️ how neat is that? 2- Golden Torch Cactus got moved to this bigger pot, (my turtle pot). I moved my sick jade tree out of the turtle pot, and moved my cacti into it. I’ve had this cactus cluster for 4 (going on five) years, it was only one cactus stalk when I was gifted it my bestfriend, now it’s five! 3- Lipstick Echeveria also was moved to a new hanging pot, onto the back porch. 4- Cylindrical Snake Plant, was moved out of my the hanging pot, my Lipstick Echeveria is now in. ^ (from photo 3 above), and moved into a larger terracotta pot my mom gave me recently. 5. Lastly my Lady Finger Cactus has {finally} gotten a noticeable amount taller, I put it into a new slightly larger (3.5) inch terracotta pot. Wanted to share some pictures for #succulentsunday 🌿😊 1/2- a baby I found on my pachyphytum ‘Starburst’, this is its first baby it’s put off since I’ve had it. Yay! 3- Sedeveria ‘Dark Elf’ looks like it may be starting to grow a flower, it has grown one before and looked similar. 4- Lipstick Echeveria, I need to repot this one but its leaves are looking much better after accidentally burning it when I first brought it back outside for summer 😬 5- Silver Snake Plant- is putting off a pup! Need advice on lipstick plant this little guy I bought about six months ago. I moved him to a West facing window after I saw no blooms in a northeast window. It started to bud, but it seems to be two different plants. The newer growth looks fine but the older growth seems a bit wilted and dull, I’ve been careful not to overwater but check very regularly to make sure it’s not dry. Not sure what the deal is. The buds are about a month old, but have not progressed much. There is a heating vent under the plant stand this lives on, but the air has been redirected so it does not hit the plants. I know it’s not unusual for them to get bald, but I don’t see the conditions it’s in causing that. #LipstickEcheveria #HappyPlants

Happy Halloween Greggers!! Me and my mom went to a local nursery today and got ice cream & picked up a couple plants! They had some cute Halloween decorations and a huge succulent selection! Got this cute blue scale printed pot the other day at Hobby Lobby. I’ve been feeling the need to rename my #LipstickEcheveria because his little sprout didn’t make it 😢 Everytime I looked at him with the old name it just felt sad so….with a few days to think on it & this new pot for inspiration….DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!! !!!🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁!!! Say hello to 🔱 Triton 🔱 !!!! The tail scales match so why not?!?! 👍🏻🤣❤️ Plus, his leaves are pointy like his crown.
