I have aquired a large jade pathos that has been in a jug of water for many years. What does it mean when the leaves closest to the roots turn yellow? Does this need soil?

Hey #greggang! Happy Friday! Um, Saturday, I guess, at this point... it's a busy week for me at work, lots of 12-16 hour days. Restaurants never sleep. I was able to get a late start today and therefore got a lot of plant chores done while I sipped my coffee! Eva the #englishivy got her first trellis, and I just took my first cutting from her! I'm setting up the #propagationstation on my window sill with prop drops and distilled water. My zebrina cuttings did well on that sill, so fingers crossed! I received 3 new babies yesterday morning, but I didn't get home until 1am, so they were all transferred into my soil mix in clear nursery pots this morning. My pearl and jade #pothos and lemon lime #philodendron babies were treated for root rot and also transplanted into my soil blend in clear pots. My #jadepothos has me excited because she looks so healthy and she's new to me. What I'm really excited about is my #catpalm. I gave up hope on Michele because those #spidermites took over so fast and kept growing no matter what I did! I put her in the garage to die a slow death, I couldn't bear to put her on the curb. But I found this stuff: Big Leaf Energy, and it's giving me hope! There's no new movement on the fronds and it's been almost 48 hours! I gave her some water today, so we'll see. If I can save my gateway plant, I can do anything #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy

My stems are going crazy and falling out of my plant 😭 how do I propagate them? Looked like this 4 days ago now the leaves are super saggy and one of the legs legit fell out of the soil?

He’s out here acting like a leaky faucet 💧… I have a small bowl under this stem in particular that catches the drips, and it leaves a significant puddle. It’s actually quite impressive 😆 #PothosPack #PothosWater #Pothos #JadePothos
