I got this cactus from a friend last summer. It has a chronic leaning problem. It looks to me like the base of the cactus is tapered into the roots and doesn't want to support the weight of the plant. How do I get it to stay standing upright?

Why am I getting brown patches at top of cactus? They are not soft and have some flaky “skin”. Don’t think it’s root rot, could be fungus?

I started this beauty on Mothers day. Some were plants i already had like the #hedgecactus, #zebraplant and #jade. Others i bought for this like the #ladyfingercactus and #pandaplant. Its a south facing window and I have a grow light which seems to keep everything from getting leggy. Its fun to watch it flourish. #succulentsquad #succulantlove #cactusclique

My daughter sent this cactus to me. It came in a box. I planted it into a pot. But I didn't see any roots. How long will it take for me to notice it is healthy. It looks good now. But I'm not sure.
