Although I still need to get a few grow lights, it just aināt in the budget right now š¤£.. I got the lamp & kitty picture (photo 1) for my birthday on Wednesday from my grandma & I thought they would both look awesome in my plant room. I also have my #NewPlants my mom got me set up on the table with my humidifier since you guys told me Philos & Hoyas like humidity š #PlantCorner Picture two & three are the top of my plant shelf, I have it decorated as of now but that may change if I donāt end up having enough space for my plants š¬ I have my seashells displayed, & other plant related Knick knacks & my mushrooms š My new mushroom planter is super cute š„° a gift from my Boyfriend for my birthday. I put them on two of my pots & a plant stand using super glue. I really like how they came out & it was fun to fit them together like a puzzle! I decided to put my Gasteraloe āD Tigaā in one & my Haworthia Angustifolia in the other. I also potted my pink Syngonium in a pot with a watering tray so it evenly waters it, & also let it spend some time next to the humidifier today. I love the colors! šø Lastly, I repotted my Speckled Hoya Carnosa & my Black Cardinal Philodendron. My boyfriend got this for me about two or three years ago on my first birthday we shared together. Itās a very special plant to me! She was so small when I first got her compared to now. I have struggled with strings & have had lots of ups & downs with them when it comes to caring for them & keeping them alive, but this baby has always been forgiving with me & has given me grace. š«¶š» & for that I thank her & treat her extra special & extra care to be fragile with her & her delicate long tendrils.. š„¹ I only bottom water her, and I keep her outside until winter in my screened in porch. I have her in a shallow teracotta pot for good drainage. I love her one all white tendril she has, itās so cool to me. Today my grandma had a yard sale, so me & my boyfriend went to help as well as sell some things. We plan to use the money we made for our day trip to Carolina beach tomorrow! š Iām super excited since we havenāt been to the beach in a while & havenāt gone on a trip this year together. Varigated Melon Spurge, her baby is getting so big! If I wanted to ever separate them, how would I go about that? Would I slice it off with a clean tool? Or would I kinda tug and twist it ? Should I wait for it to get bigger ? I normally donāt separate my babies/pups but I would love to have another one of these! 2. Graptoveria āOpalinaā , I love how she is constantly changing colors! 3. Crown Of Thorns āBicolorā , Iām still learning her habits & preferences, I currently have her outside in full sun, and water once a week because she seems to get droopy pretty quick if I donāt. I bottom soak her and let her dry out completely before I water again. Any tips on this one would be appreciated! š± 4. Prolific Echeveria, itās grown lots of of babies, but there is this one super long growth & Iām not sure what thatās about. Iāve been wanting one for so long! They usually are pretty expensive so thatās why I hadnāt gotten one yet. Online & at local nurseries they go for about 50$ or so. But I found this one at Home Depot for 20$ & it came with a pot! I felt like that was a pretty good steal, & there was only one so it was coming home with me! I went for perlite, & this Home Depot was out too! All in all it was a STRUGGLE to repot it, but I was able to get it done, lesson learned *donāt let it get so rootbound to where itās almost impossible to get it out of the pot*ā¦ (photo 1) I also repotted my Silver Snake Plant today in my other 20 inch teracotta bowl, (the aloe went in the other one). I wanted to use them for an arrangement, but honestly my plants have gotten so big this season to where I donāt even have pots big enough to repot a lot of them right now. š« so I just had to use them for one plant, which is fine because honestly those plants both need more space to grow. (Photos 2-3) I put my Graptopetalum āSuperbumā in the pot that I took my Aloe āDelta Lightsā out of. It had slowed growth & the dirt just seemed kinda hydrophobic. Iām hoping to see a little growth before I have to bring it in during winter. (Photo 4) Lastly, the Aloe āDelta Lightsā looks like itās starting to form a flower stalk.. itās never bloomed before, Iām hoping me repotting it while itās actively trying to flower isnāt gonna stunt or affect it. I put them on two of my pots & a plant stand using super glue. I really like how they came out & it was fun to fit them together like a puzzle! I decided to put my Gasteraloe āD Tigaā in one & my Haworthia Angustifolia in the other. I also potted my pink Syngonium in a pot with a watering tray so it evenly waters it, & also let it spend some time next to the humidifier today. I love the colors! šø Lastly, I repotted my Speckled Hoya Carnosa & my Black Cardinal Philodendron. I repotted some of my cacti together this weekend with my new Sol Soil mix.. I canāt wait to see how they do. My birthday is Wednesday & tomorrow I will be celebrating one month sober! My boyfriend got this for me about two or three years ago on my first birthday we shared together. Itās a very special plant to me! She was so small when I first got her compared to now. I have struggled with strings & have had lots of ups & downs with them when it comes to caring for them & keeping them alive, but this baby has always been forgiving with me & has given me grace. š«¶š» & for that I thank her & treat her extra special & extra care to be fragile with her & her delicate long tendrils.. š„¹ I only bottom water her, and I keep her outside until winter in my screened in porch. I have her in a shallow teracotta pot for good drainage. I love her one all white tendril she has, itās so cool to me. Today my grandma had a yard sale, so me & my boyfriend went to help as well as sell some things. We plan to use the money we made for our day trip to Carolina beach tomorrow! š Iām super excited since we havenāt been to the beach in a while & havenāt gone on a trip this year together. Although itās not summer anymore and wonāt be as warm, which means I most likely wonāt be able to get in the water š Iām still happy that I will get to see the water & sand as well as smelling the salt! šļø My grandma was selling these plant stands & since I liked them she gave them to me. Itās kinda hard to tell the size in the picture but itās in a 3 inch pot. The second is a Fire Barrel Cactus, I love the magenta spines at the top! Varigated Melon Spurge, her baby is getting so big! If I wanted to ever separate them, how would I go about that? Would I slice it off with a clean tool? Or would I kinda tug and twist it ? Should I wait for it to get bigger ? I normally donāt separate my babies/pups but I would love to have another one of these! 2. Graptoveria āOpalinaā , I love how she is constantly changing colors! 3. Crown Of Thorns āBicolorā , Iām still learning her habits & preferences, I currently have her outside in full sun, and water once a week because she seems to get droopy pretty quick if I donāt. I bottom soak her and let her dry out completely before I water again. Any tips on this one would be appreciated! š± 4. Prolific Echeveria, itās grown lots of of babies, but there is this one super long growth & Iām not sure what thatās about. This emerged around the same time it flowered, at first I thought it was another flower stalk, but itās not clearly š¤£ Iām just wondering why itās so long ? It gets plenty of light, I didnāt know if there was a name or reason for this? Her other babies are much more compact and closer to the mother. 5. Iāve been wanting one for so long! They usually are pretty expensive so thatās why I hadnāt gotten one yet. Online & at local nurseries they go for about 50$ or so. But I found this one at Home Depot for 20$ & it came with a pot! I felt like that was a pretty good steal, & there was only one so it was coming home with me! I went for perlite, & this Home Depot was out too! They have lasted about a month or a little less, since Iāve cut them and had them inside. Thatās a long time for cut flowers if you ask me. Also wanted to brag on my VSOH, itās so long & is doing so good! My boyfriend got me this for my first birthday we had together, so itās a special plant! All in all it was a STRUGGLE to repot it, but I was able to get it done, lesson learned *donāt let it get so rootbound to where itās almost impossible to get it out of the pot*ā¦ (photo 1) I also repotted my Silver Snake Plant today in my other 20 inch teracotta bowl, (the aloe went in the other one). I wanted to use them for an arrangement, but honestly my plants have gotten so big this season to where I donāt even have pots big enough to repot a lot of them right now. š« so I just had to use them for one plant, which is fine because honestly those plants both need more space to grow. (Photos 2-3) I put my Graptopetalum āSuperbumā in the pot that I took my Aloe āDelta Lightsā out of. It had slowed growth & the dirt just seemed kinda hydrophobic. Iām hoping to see a little growth before I have to bring it in during winter. (Photo 4) Lastly, the Aloe āDelta Lightsā looks like itās starting to form a flower stalk.. itās never bloomed before, Iām hoping me repotting it while itās actively trying to flower isnāt gonna stunt or affect it.
