Some updates on a couple succs! 🌿 1. Blue Echeveria, she has started growing babies at her base, (not pictured) and also has something growing out the side that could possibly be a flower stalk.. not sure yet. She’s already grown a lot since I got her, she was starting to etoliate (in store) when I bought her, so I would say I saved her 😏 2. Graptopetalum Superbum, one of my faves, she has gotten huge I ordered her from Mountain Crest Gardens, and since then she has grown two babies… one is already a good size! 3. Sedum Clavatum has lots of babies, and has been showing some pink here lately since the temps have been getting colder at night. It warmed back up so it’s not as visible as it was. 4. Graptosedum Ghosty, they have grown ALOT since I got them during summer. They have grown alot of babies, I repotted them not too long ago, but the babies are so big they are pushing into each other. 😅 5. Giant jewel plant, has new growth on the top and the side. Happy Monday #GregGang 🌱 I hope everyone had a great weekend, & start of the week. Today I visited a new nursery, in Apex. I’ve never been there but I was so amazed by the variety of plants for indoor and out! It was hard not to go crazy, but I only walked out with two plants! 🙀😂 1. painter’s palette (anthurium andraeanum) 🎨 2. Andromischus cooperi (similar to calico hearts, just a different leaf shape) 3. Echeveria from my haul a couple weeks ago. It was starting to etoliate at the store, it’s already looking better, I’m slowly introducing it to more light. If anyone knows what type of echeveria this is, please comment! #PlantID #identify #PlantInfo #echeveria 4. Another repot, graptopetalum ‘ghosty’, they all have babies growing! 5. How many awesome succulents can I fit in one post ?! 🤔🪴 Not enough.. so there will be more in the comments 😅 I have had a hectic plant phase lately with all my moving & then moving my plants back due to poor lighting. (I prefer to keep them outside if it will allow it).. So now that they are finally back to normal here’s updates on my babies. They have gotten so big. 🥰 Photo 1 is my new Haworthia Mundula 🌿, I went plant crazy & finally got some new babies! , & will be showing my new plants in a separate post. ➡️ so look out for that! #TransformationTuesday this is my graptopetalum ‘Superbum’, I recently repotted her after she got much to big for the pot in the first picture. She is now in yellow 3 inch pot that @Lifeis2short gifted to me 😊. The first picture is from February 29th The second is from may 16 when I repotted her The 3rd-5th pictures are from this past Saturday. She has grown so well, and I definitely recommend Mountain Crest Gardens for online succulent shopping 🛍️ all of my plants have preformed well, & show stable colors, growth & health. Succulent tower update 🪴 -graptopetalum ‘superbum’- slow growing so far, but she has gotten bigger -Echeveria ‘PVN’- growing pretty fast, not showing much purple since I have her in direct sun, but she likes it. She’s grown a lot! -graptoveria ‘Debbie’- my fastest growing plant in the tower right now, I’m thinking about repotting her, she’s gotten much larger then the lil space she has, I would imagine she’s used lots of nutrients too, so it may be time to repot her. I’m gonna leave her for now because she is still growing, but she is one of my faves for sure! -Echeveria ‘Atlantis’- another fast grower, he also requires a bit more water then the other when in direct sun. He has really filled out so nicely! -Echeveria ‘Green Pearl’- he had a rough start after having to remove some leaves due to damage, he is finally starting to get larger & I’ve noticed him growing the past week or so. The leaves are filling out again, & new growth is coming out! Can’t wait till he gets more full and healthy! Showing some not so happy neglected succs, that I left behind at my moms when I moved all my plants to my boyfriends house… (he’s very accommodating amirite?!😆) … and some also happy succs that are outside in containers at my moms, that Ill be leaving there ! For the happy succs, we have some sedums & a hens & chicks variety… I didn’t get a pic of all the hens but I did get a picture of the biggest one! Now for the sad succs… so I had recovered sanders completely from frost, but then my cat decided to use her as a chew toy… and she’s been inside since my mom forgot to move her back out after a brief cold period recently… so that led to a bit of color loss/etoliation. She will be an easy fix so I’m not worried! Sanders and her babies have quite literally been through it all.. I even turned her pot upside down in the car this morning bringing her with mee 🙃😳.. she’s tough to say the least ! And then I have my Sedeveria ‘Dark Elf’ that is completely etoliated and fading green… yes I knoww she needs better lighting conditions.. or rather more consistent. Update on my order from mountain crest gardens I got a month ago. These are in my tiered planter. I have been mostly keeping them outside since the weather has been nice lately. Mostly full sun, and watering a lot more frequently since they have been in bright direct light most the day. They have definitely grown and changed colors, they are healthy and happy as of right now. 1.Graptoveria ‘Debbie’ 2. Echeveria PVN 3. Graptopetalum ‘Superbum’ 4. Echeveria ‘Atlantis’ 5. Happy Friday #GregGang ☀️🌿 I hope everyone has had a good week! Has the time change made your day go by faster or slower? For me it seems like it’s been going by faster. ⏩ For this #FreshLeafFriday I wanted to post my *almost* finished planter that I got a couple weeks ago. There is one more spot left, which I plan to fill this weekend after a trip to my fave local nursery! I’ve came to a sad conclusion that I no longer will be purchasing plants from my Home Depot because sadly the last several plants I’ve gotten from there, have had some fungal issue that either spreads to my other plants, or kills the plant I purchased. Despite throughly inspecting them when purchasing, there is just some things that the human eye can’t see, or it looks healthy but the disease hasn’t fully set in yet.. Anyways on a better note I’ve got pictures of my finished planter, I will list the plants in order of the tiers starting from bottom up. 📈🌿 •Bottom- Graptoveria ‘Debbie’ , Graptopetalum ‘Super Bum’ & Echeveria PVN 💜 all these are purple toned, although the graptopetalum & PVN aren’t visible in the picture because they are in the back. So I willwil attach photos of them. So I accidentally killed my Graptopetalum Murasaki when I chopped it so I decided to buy a new one since it’s one of my absolute favorites. Well when I went to order it, I ordered two other succulents as well including another Graptopetalum Ellen! I was expecting a 3.5” plant and received this to my surprise. I had to use a 5” pot for it because it was so big. It’s absolutely beautiful though and the seller I order from always sends the best succulents! I ordered this from RareSucculents on Etsy if curious. Planted a few of my #Succulents today, I was so excited to finally get get to use my Pixie Planter™️ from Amazon. These two inch plants were a perfect fit for it 🪴 I have one tier left that needs to be filled, I want to use my string of hearts to add a spiller to the planter. It’s so relaxing to pot up your new plants! It’s like my mind finally goes quiet as I focus on getting them all tucked into there new homes. 🤗🪴🌈✨💕🌱 I will show you guys the finished product when it’s done, and stacked up how it should be. Haven’t treated myself with plants in a while… so I placed an order this morning! Super excited. I lost my PVN to powdery mildew so I thought I would start with a new one for this upcoming spring ! It’s hard giving up on plants, but the possibility of it spreading to the rest of my oasis, is far to large for me to risk it ! I also have developed a graptoveria fetish recently… they are just so pretty! I credit this new obsession to @pachyfaeria and her beautiful graptos!
