Okay-I need some direction ☺️ I got this beauty at Lowe’s. The tag 🏷️ says “Greenjula.” I am thinking a mix of Global Green Pothos and a Manjula Pothos mixed together? But. Just finished chopping up my #neonqueenpothos and #MarbleQueenPothos and #GlobalGreenPothos 😭….. I kept noticing lots of leaves turning yellow so I suspected some #RootRot ….. so sad but glad I was able to save some of the plants #ChopAndProp #PlantAddict

I know it’s Sunday, but we can pretend it’s still Saturday so the #SaturdayPothosSquad can hang out for a second? Since the last time I posted, I’ve added a few more #pothos to my #PothosPack! Let me introduce you to #SkeletonKeyPothos, #ManjulaPothos, and #GlobalGreenPothos! My #NeonPothos also got a much needed pot upgrade!! I didn’t realize just how crowded she was! Went to my local nursery for some #PlantTherapy shopping with my friend, @13Stitches, and my oldest kid today. In the last year-ish my child has gone from ‘Mooooooom…..😒’ and ‘oh no.. not another one…. 😠’ to ‘Oh! Is that new plant? 🤔 When did you get that?🙂’ And ‘oh, that’s cool!’ And now we’ve gotten to the ‘do you think I have enough light in my room for a plant?’ And now, I am proud to announce she has gotten herself her first plant to care for! #PinkSplashAglaonema its the closest #greg has in the database. But it was labeled as a ‘Night Sparkle’. Maybe the #gregteam can help with getting the proper identification? I also got myself two plants that I’ve been wanting for awhile, #WatermelonPeperomia and a #GlobalGreenPothos. At least I’m thinking it’s a global green, it was labeled as #LemonMeringuePothos’ buuuut… it’s too dark of a green for that, me thinks. So I’m calling it a global green. And the guy adjusted the price for it too. But now I have two new plants that need some names. Anyone care to #NameMyPlants ? I finally got to pot up my #GlobalGreenPothos cutting and the #BlushingPhilodendron cutting from @ShipofRockets 🤗🪴 They both have lots of fat, healthy roots, so it was time. And, as a special treat, meet Benny, the frog who lives in my #KenyanViolet pot! I was talking to Jon on the phone for well over an hour yesterday and he enlightened me on one thing I wanted and thought I needed to share with everyone. #ljplantnursery The best time of day to repot your plants is of the evening. I honestly didn’t know that. Me beingg the curious person I am I had to find out why. Some of you may already know this. THIS ONE WE ALL PRETTY MUCH KNOW: Spring is ideal for repotting a houseplant. Plants often go dormant in the winter and begin growing again as daylight hours increase in the spring. Repotting gives them the room they need to grow. But that doesn’t mean you have to wait for spring. If a plant is showing signs of stress or poor health, go ahead and repot any time of year. THIS I DIDN’T KNOW: Try to repot in the evening if possible. “At night, in the absence of bright sunlight, the plant’s metabolism slows down, so it has a chance to recover from repotting stress,”. #whentorepotaplant
