Good morning☕️🌞to #TheThread Its a chilly Sunday morning in kansasland and our coldest temps since may. FALL is definately in full swing here and i expect leaves to start changing to those amazing fall colors this week. I fell asleep right after dinner last night but still had 3 plants outside that needed to come in before it got to cold. I woke up at 11 in a panic😱😱😱! But my body said woah!!!! You arent doing anything until i wake up too😂! As much as i wanted to run straight out and get them it just wasnt happening without a few drinks of coffee and a few stretches and pops! Long story short it was only 59 degrees at that point so everyone got in safe and sound🤗. But roght now its 47 so good thing i woke up when i did🙌. We had several@great photos shared yesterday.... aside from my pic hogging posts lol. Here are a few you might enjoy a second look at! To my surprise it was my #GregGivesBackGiveaway BOX 🤩. It was a blessing after the mid fall day yesterday making me think it’s only gonna get worse. Having seasonal depression is o joke but this box made my day. I thank you #greggivesback and decided I want to spread the joy by participating with this amazing group of people. Good morning☕️🌞 to #TheThread We crossed the FINISH LINE🙌 its the WEEKEND😍! First off i want to sincerely thank everyone for nominating me on the #greggivesback give away🙏! I do appreciate all the thanks and praise! But i still say its you all that make #TheThread🥰 i just start it. Ok moving on... i managed to get quite a bit of sleep yesterday even though it was bits at a time. But that ok ive always kind of been that way, i just didnt get out of bed🤷‍♂️. Ill have lots of plant stuff to do today since ive really taken 2 days off on that. I watered a few things thursday but absoluteky nothing yesterday🙄. Ive already kind of started on that this morning, just tent stuff so far but its a start. Ill need to get porch stuff before the sun comes up, which ill probably do after i post this. Going to be another 95-100 degree day with 100-105 heat index so it will be a good day to hunker down in the A/C and tend to plants. What are you guys doing to stay cool and relaxed this weekend? Our 1st photo of the weekend was provided by @Preciousplants1 of her awesome new looking glass begonia fresh out of quarentine. I definately see why they named it that! All those stunning colors mixing together with that almost lightning strike looking veins just leaves you mesmerized😵‍💫! Our second amazing photo came to us from @GrownRadish10 one of our new members to #TheThread and the #GregGang. She shared this beautifully displayed collection of wonderous plants in yesterdays post. Im really loving that hanging pot planter in the window😍! But lets be real! Those perfect plants are the real star of the show. @Araceae shared our 3rd photo of this tiny baby nepenthes gaya pitcher. Those bright red and yellow pitchers sure are amazing to look at! But those colors are meant to attract pesky bugs to its deadly pirtchers for digestion of nutrients😈. Our 4th great pic is of a few dutchmans pipe cacti divisions that @MariansOasis has been working on in her free time. She had already done a mess of these last week! But i guess she still had more to do🤷‍♂️. You go girl! Thats alot of repotting youve got done🙌! Bringing up the rear like only @SwiftWolfsbane can do! Is her epic thai con unfurling a stunning new leaf. That new green dappled with perfect white across its face is perfection at the least. But add in that big patch of white variegation and its just heavenly😇🥹. Good morning☕️🌞 to #TheThread Its my first day back to work after 4.5 days off😤, but its still a pretty easy day. I have to go to the job i did last week and do a bathroom splash that will take 2-3 hrs by the time i go get the tile , drive 35 miles , install and get back to town. Then i have to deliver tomorrows job and prep. Not sure what my plan is after that, most likely clean house. I spent 4 days doing planty things so now my floors are a disaster🤢. Still missing my good old Acer dog😢 but now i cant blame him for being the slob of the house lol. Guess it was me ALL ALONG🤷‍♂️😂! Sure is empty without our faithful companions to say good morning or welcome us home from a hard day at work.How is everyone elses week been going? Hopefully its cruising by🏎️! We have been a little slow on pics this week. But i found a couple to tide you over🙌. Our first photo was shared by @TidyTigerpear of one of her many stunning succulents😍. This is a golden sedum thats just glowing with happiness out in that sun and under her expert care . That lime green mixed with the light pink sunstress makes for one vibrant plant! Our second photo is another expertly crafted flower arrangement done by @Hoyaobsessed. Those bright pastels seam to be the color of the the SUMMER😎. I can see why, with such a perfectly mixed pallet of colors and her eye for detail im sure theyre selling these things like hot cakes🙌! And since we are pic challenged this morning ive decided to document my first #gregmug use! Thanks again @stephonicle🙏🥰. Your awesome!
