This is one of my favorite #native plants because it tends to start blooming around this time of year, when most everything else has stopped. The delicate little flowers are so pretty and bees and birds love it. I watered the area last night and today it was full of blooms. There are so many more buds waiting to open, too. Native to #Florida, sometimes called Forked Bluecurls. It’s a great plant for wild, natural areas. I definitely recommend it for any other Florida gardeners! πŸ’š

Was doing my regular routine this morning, filling up my self-watering containers when I spotted someone who took up residence in a high rise planter apartment, staring out of his front door! He refused to answer questions about his lease or how long ago he moved in, but he was very willing to take two pieces of food (tiny goldfish insect pellets). He didn't complain about any flooding so, I'm guessing he's content. He specializes in pest control and I've only had 1 noise complaint during the night, so... I finally planted my army of β€œegg-heads” outside today! πŸ€—πŸ₯‘ I love watching them grow inside, but since avocados are toxic for pets, I relocate them outside when they’re ready (or when β€œI” am ready to let go! Lol). To #Florida Greggers, just a heads up if you don’t watch the news, if you got any plant storm prep you gotta do, get to it. πŸ˜‰ and stay safe everyone in the east coast of #USA In palm beach county and I’ve already had several plants fall over outside from the slightest increase of wind πŸ˜…πŸ₯² moved a few inside now.
