New lights, new hopes. So I got these new lights that provide a much more lux then the lights I already have and I鈥檓 hoping to get my high need of direct light for some on my plants. The pucks in the shelf鈥檚 are Sansi https:// . The bulb is https:// . And the new pink ones are https:// . #sundew Hi y'all! Its been a while. Ive been busy this past week taking photos as I am beginning the learning process of photography! It has been a BLAST so far! 馃摳 Of course, my absolute favorite thing to photograph has been plants. So, here are a few of my favs so far 馃槃. Okay guys two in one day hahaha! Here鈥檚 the baby pitchers we got from yesterday鈥檚 little trip 馃お馃お the first is a sweet baby n. Ampullaria tri-color with its little bulbous pitchers, this one鈥檚 actually cool because instead of forming pitchers normally this little guy likes to carpet along the ground with his tiny lid wide open ready to collect not just bugs-anything! Leaf litter, bird droppings etc. that means this guy is detritivorous! Next up is the new jewel n. Lowii x Ventricosa and these hardy hybrids are great for beginners while also putting out some water bottle sized, toilet shaped pitchers (hopefully) look at that beautiful red color! I don't post often, but i just wanna share some new growths i thot was cute :3 1. Phalaenopsis Mituo Reflex Dragon 'Blue-2' [AM/AOS] x Happy Camper 'Blue'. Newest leaf is a large one! AND it still hasn't hardened fully yet 2. Homalomena sp. 'Silver Red'. First leaf since i got it just 2 weeks ago! AND it has a bloom popping! Although I'm suspicious over how it looks, dunno whether brown tips is good [Tip: for those using aquasoil, or as you call it Fluval Stratum, try crushing it or get the powdered form. It holds water better, but still retains the same quality as the granules. Holds onto cuttings better too] 3. Bucephalandra 'Brownie Ghost' babies. They grow sooo slowlybut these babies are growing fast! They've got a bit of a sparkle which is nice 4. Nepenthes 'Viking' x veitchii 'Bario' baby. Fresh pitchers from seedlings are the most precious to me! 5. Baby Heartleaf and Anthurium! The Heartleaf was a single-leaf w/ node cutting from a mature vine.
