Did you guys know that you can root their leaves when a ping is in a succulent phase? Because I didn't 😲. Lil Bit lost some succulent leaves during a chilly cold front. I felt devastated and sad 😭 so I didn't toss them immediately and kept them in a container. However, the leaves didn't die right away, and a couple of days later, I noticed small leaves coming from them and thought, "NO WAY 🤯." So I placed them on peat moss, and now I have Lil Bites 🥺. Interesting. I found it in the fridge already sprouting. It knew that it was spring by its own internal clock. I did not have to put it outside to break the dormancy period. #carnivorousclub #carnivorousplants #cpclubthursday #ultrakoreanfir #happyplants

#newplants ! Yesterday I went to the annual plant sale at Leu Gardens in Orlando (btw if you want to go but haven't it's still going on today -- March 9th!). It was super fun, and the gardens were absolutely stunning. So so so many vendors were there, it was huge! Of course I had to immediately make my way over to the carnivorous plant tent. He had more plants than usual, which was of course, amazing! I ended up getting 2 nepenthes, 2 drosera, and 2 sarracenia. Spring is on its way!! The days have been warming up here in FL. My Sarracenia, venus fly traps, and temperate drosera & pinguicula have begun coming out of dormancy! It's so nice seeing them growing again - I always miss them over winter. My Nepenthes have also been going crazy with pitchers. I've been struggling to find that perfect environment, soil, and watering schedule for them, but I think I've finally got it! I can't wait for all of my temperate plants to be out of dormancy fully. My ✨FIRST✨ Venus Fly Trap bloom!!!!!!! It's on my Red Dragon Fly Trap that I keep in a bog garden under a light with a red forked sundew (that has constantly been blooming. Maybe I should trim the old ones? 😂) I can't wait to see the bloom! I'm considering moving these two outside when it's warm enough to get more color in them. Pingiucula Flower Field 🌸🌹🌺💐🌷🌻🌼 My butterworts are taking off and flowering one after another, even Lil bit is flowering and I wasn’t sure she could do that. I went to Walmart today and they had Venus Fly Traps! I got 3 of them. They're looking a little scraggly but nothing a little TLC can't fix. ;) They're under a grow light now, but when the temp gets a bit better, they'll go outside to soak up that sun! #carnivorousplants #carnivorousclub #cpclubthursday #venusflytrap #vft #newplants #jesssjungle

My sarracenia is going crazy! Look at that flower stem!
