Happy #FreshLeafFriday everyone 🌿 Today I went my favorite locally owned nursery, I went because I’m already having *cringe* FUNGUS KNATS 😫 … I haven’t even moved my plants inside yet is the worst part. It’s just my props that are inside on my plant shelf right now. Anyways I went looking for some sticky traps that you can put in your pots. My grandma gave me one a few months back & it seems to have caught a lot of knats, etc. I have been trying to find more so I could put them in my other pots indoors, but couldn’t seem to find them at Home Depot or Walmart. It came with 24 but they were $13.99! 😳 I’m almost ashamed to say that I spent that much on them, however I’m used to the this nursery being a bit pricy (most locally owned places tend to be a bit more expensive then big box stores). Since I couldn’t find them anywhere else & it was an emergency I’m not too upset about the price. 😬 I didn’t end up coming home with any new plants today, *pats self on back* (it was only because they don’t carry many succulents during this time of year). But I did get a planter & some premade gritty cactus mix… the soil was also RIDICULOUSLY expensive for the amount I got.. (21.99 for 2.2 lbs) it is very gritty & looks like a good quality mix. Since I’ve recently been more interested in cacti than usual, I decided to get this instead of the premade gritty succulent mix they had. Although I know the basic care for cacti, I still have trouble with them sometimes, they will be fine & then they will just die on me or just not grow, idk if they go dormant or what. There are so many little things about every type of cactus they are very specific as far as care goes etc. anyways my point is hoping this soil mix will keep them happy & prevent rot or overwatering. I used the new soil mix in my new pot with one of my new cactuses I got the other day, I also put a sedeveria ā€˜Spring Jade’ & a little piece of sedum in the middle. I also moved my palm in it’s permanent spot as of right now, on my screened in porch, I don’t know much about these, I’m not even really sure what type of palm it is.. any tips are appreciated Sorry for the super long post 🫣 #PlantAddict #CactusClique #Cacti #Cactus #SoilMix #grittymix #fungusgnats #PestControl #SucculentLove #SucculentSquad #Succulents #Succulent #cacticollect #PestControl #MyLocalPlantShop #Sedeveria #Sedum #planters #succulentarrangements #Palms

Hope everyone is having a good weekend, Im pretty busy this weekend! Today my grandma had a yard sale, so me & my boyfriend went to help as well as sell some things. We plan to use the money we made for our day trip to Carolina beach tomorrow! 🌊 I’m super excited since we haven’t been to the beach in a while & haven’t gone on a trip this year together. Although it’s not summer anymore and won’t be as warm, which means I most likely won’t be able to get in the water šŸ˜ž I’m still happy that I will get to see the water & sand as well as smelling the salt! šŸļø My grandma was selling these plant stands & since I liked them she gave them to me. ( photos 1&3) she also gave me a pup from her Haworthia since I repotted it for her while I was there. 🌱 I also had a few plants I didn’t sell at the yard sale, so I kept them & repotted them when I got home. (Photo 2) its four polka dot props, & my bromeliad that wasn’t doing so well in the pot I had it in, so I’m hoping it will start doing better in a new pot & new spot. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #NewPlants #PlantShelfie #PlantStorageandDecor #PlantLove #SnakePlant #SnakePlantSquad #Haworthia #Propagation #PropagationStation #OutdoorGrowing #OutsidePlants #Bromeliad #PolkaDotPlant #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #Succulent #succulentsaturday #SuccerForSucculents #GrowingSuccs #Cacti #AfricanMilkBush

Forgot to post these the other day, for #WhatTheSuccWednesday #WhereIsWhatTheSuccWednesday šŸ’š 1. Varigated Melon Spurge, her baby is getting so big! If I wanted to ever separate them, how would I go about that? Would I slice it off with a clean tool? Or would I kinda tug and twist it ? Should I wait for it to get bigger ? I normally don’t separate my babies/pups but I would love to have another one of these! 2. Graptoveria ā€˜Opalina’ , I love how she is constantly changing colors! 3. Crown Of Thorns ā€˜Bicolor’ , I’m still learning her habits & preferences, I currently have her outside in full sun, and water once a week because she seems to get droopy pretty quick if I don’t. I bottom soak her and let her dry out completely before I water again. Any tips on this one would be appreciated! 🌱 4. Prolific Echeveria, it’s grown lots of of babies, but there is this one super long growth & I’m not sure what that’s about. This emerged around the same time it flowered, at first I thought it was another flower stalk, but it’s not clearly 🤣 I’m just wondering why it’s so long ? It gets plenty of light, I didn’t know if there was a name or reason for this? Her other babies are much more compact and closer to the mother. 5. Cliff cotyledon, so cute & chonky šŸ¤— lots of new growth! #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #SucculentLove #SucculentSquad #Succulents #Succulent #GrowingSuccs #SuccerForSucculents #Echeveria #CactusClique #Cactus #Cacti #cacticollect #CrownOfThorns #Cotyledon #Graptoveria #OutdoorGrowing #OutsidePlants #PlantTherapy #PlantLove

#ThornyThursday šŸ˜‰ my mom gave me a crown of thorns… when adding it to my oasis, so many different kinds of Crown of Thorns came up… & mine didn’t come with a sprecific name, so I’m not sure if it’s the right ID (Crown Of Thorns ā€˜Bicolor’). (Photo 4) Anyways I repotted her, & hopefully she will like it outside… I’m wondering if it is similar to my African Milk Bush, & will prefer morning sun, & afternoon shade. I noticed my AMB (African milk bush) started yellowing leaves if left in full sun all day, like my other succulents. It seems to prefer morning sun, with afternoon shade during the hotter hours of the day. This is my first crown of thorns, so idk if they will be similar in that way, but any care advice would be greatly appreciated! I also wanted to share some #BloomingCactus / #BloomingSuccs My Varigated Melon cactus, (Photos 1-3) has the teensiest CUTEST FLOWERR ever starting to form… I know she is small, you may even have to squint to be able to tell it’s a flower… but it is! I’m so happy, this is one of favorite plants/cactus. I haven’t had her very long either, I’m telling you guys the fertilizer I use for my #Succulents has been impressing me this year! So many new blooms on varieties that haven’t bloomed for me before, & it’s usually after repotting with new soil with added in slow release granular succulent fertilizer. I get it from Home Depot & it truly does work for a great price & the bottle will last you a while, depending on how often you repot & the size of the planter. I hope you guys enjoy the cactus updates, & everyone is having a great Thursday… it’s almost the weekend, amirite! šŸ˜… #HappyPlants #NewPlant #NewPlants #CrownOfThorns #Cactus #CactusClique #Cacti #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulent #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #OutdoorGrowing #PlantLove #variegatedplants #MelonCactus #GrowingSuccs #flowerpower #Blooming #BloomingSuccs

Late Night ~Cacti~ Appreciation Post, I had a chance to enjoy my #coffeewithsucculents this morning, & got to snap a few pictures of my cactus babies with morning dew šŸŒ¬ļøāœØ 1. Tephrocactus Geometricus, also known as the ā€˜Dragon Egg Cactus’ , has been *slowly* growing. Recently these darker, more pointy, & thick spines have emerged… I’m not sure what that means or why the spines have seemed to get thicker than the rest of the spines on the plant. I’m interested to know if that means anything at all, or if it’s just a normal growth pattern. I haven’t changed anything as far as its environment. If anyone has any foresight on this please share! 2-4. Another close up of the Tephrocactus, & my BEAUTIFUL Arizona Rainbow Cactus… it’s very apparent why it was named such.. it’s became one of my favorites, I wanted one for so longgg, I’m so happy to own such a beautiful cultivar. The way the spines mimic a rainbow pattern vertically, as well as eyecactching aerial view in photo 3.. I just can’t get enough of this beauty. They also have stunning flowers which I hope I will eventually get to experience! 🌸 5. Variegated Corn Cob Cactus- it has really thrived since repotting in early spring, It looks to me it could already use another repot soon… problem is i have no bigger sized pots right now… (it’s a bittersweet thing when your plants used to be super small, so all your pots are small, but now you have had them so long they have almost trippled in size, however you are lacking in pots that are appropriately sized for them now… šŸ˜‚). Anyways it will be okay till I can make it to a nursery for my birthday (November). šŸ˜‚ I plan on treating myself to some plants and pots for my 25 birthday… šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #CactusClique #Cactus #Cacti #cacticollect #ArizonaRainbowCactus #CorncobCactus #TephrocactusGeometricus #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #GrowingSuccs #OutdoorGrowing #OutsidePlants #PlantLove

Good morningā˜•ļøšŸŒž to #TheThread Its day 2 of our 3 day weekend ramping up. I hope your first day was relaxing and peaceful. I managed to clean most of my drive before some rain moved in and stopped that. Then i repotted the rest of the cp i needed to do before fall. Really thats about all i did other than sit on my butt and be lazyšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø. Really not sure what my plans for today will be yet. I may just nap, nap, and nap some more šŸ˜‚! We had a full load of photos to choose from yesterdayšŸ™Œ. Here are a few bright and cheery ones to start your day. @PrizedShadscale receieved this awesome pot of succulents for her birthday in our first photo. I just love all@those soft happy succulent colors combined in therešŸ˜. They all compliment each other so great its like a little pastel rainbow. Picture 2 was an amazing steal of find for @Araceae. When he came across this little anubis barteri pinto at a local plant show he knew it had to come home with him! That light minty green new foliage contrasting with the darker green mature foliage is awe inspiring i think🄹. Very nice find bro! Photo 3 is from @teacher12, this is one of her beautiful rainbow colored platy thats been terrorizing the other fish😱. She says its time for him to be moved so he will quit stressing everyone else out. Photo 4 was shared by @MariansOasis of her epic watermelon peperomia flaunting it stuff like sydney sweeney on an amarican eagle addšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ˜‚! I mean its got great full curves and a variegation that just makes you want to stare! And our last saturday photo opp was provided by @SunSoilLove of her newest plant mail. This amazingly variegated creme brulee peperomia is the star of the show at her house this week🤩! Its soft its shiney its bright and clean! Whats not to love about this perfect specimenšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ˜! I know if i see one its MINE😈! Thats brings us to the end of our saturday plant parade. Drink lots of coffee for me! And have a great holiday weekend! Everyone be careful out on those dangerous roads and STAY SAFE🄰 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #Peperomia #Monstera #GregPlantShop #GregGang #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #CactusClique #Cacti

Happy Friday #GregGang šŸ˜ŽšŸŒæ I’m looking forward to this 3-day weekend. I did some repotting/upgrading today, two of them were sick not to long ago but seem to be bouncing back now, thank the Plant Gods! 🤭 1. Kiwi Aeonium, moved from a 3 inch glazed clay pot to a 5 inch terracotta pot, I also moved it back outside in my screened in porch. 2. Pearl Echeveria, recently was chopped and propped after it got to much rain & rotted, I was able to re-root & it’s now taking well to being back In a pot & back outside, It’s now in a 3 inch glazed clay pot. 3. Graptoveria Titubans Variegata, this one was also chopped & propped after its stem rotted & it flopped over after a lot of rain, I re-rooted under grow lights, put it in a 1 inch terracotta pot till it had enough roots to be moved into a 3 inch terracotta pot. It was also moved back outdoors onto my shaded porch as well. 4. Echeveria Compressicaulis, moved this up to a 3.5 inch terracotta pot & also moved to an area with more shade instead of direct sun all day. 5. Peanut Cactus, this cutie was actually repotted last week, into a 3.5 inch terracotta pot, its babies are getting so big, it only was one piece when I got it almost a year ago, (it had no pups/arms). This one has become one of my favorites. #HappyPlants #NewGrowth #GrowingSuccs #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #Succulent #SuccerForSucculents #Echeveria #Graptoveria #CactusClique #Cactus #Cacti #PeanutCactus #Aeonium #KiwiAeonium #repotting #repotted #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PropagationStation #Propagation

#WhatTheSuccWednesday #WhereIsWhatTheSuccWednesday Happy Hump 🐫 Day! *whoot whoot!* šŸŽ‰ Photos 2-5 are my repots from this past weekend. 🌿 1- my #PlantCorner on our screened-in porch, out back. It’s just so nice to see all my plants just co-existing with one another! *FUN FACT*: I’ve heard that plants placed next to each other tend to do better, & actually prefer to be around each other. It’s almost like they thrive on each others company & vibes šŸ¤šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø how neat is that? 2- Golden Torch Cactus got moved to this bigger pot, (my turtle pot). I moved my sick jade tree out of the turtle pot, and moved my cacti into it. I’ve had this cactus cluster for 4 (going on five) years, it was only one cactus stalk when I was gifted it my bestfriend, now it’s five! 3- Lipstick Echeveria also was moved to a new hanging pot, onto the back porch. 4- Cylindrical Snake Plant, was moved out of my the hanging pot, my Lipstick Echeveria is now in. ^ (from photo 3 above), and moved into a larger terracotta pot my mom gave me recently. 5. Lastly my Lady Finger Cactus has {finally} gotten a noticeable amount taller, I put it into a new slightly larger (3.5) inch terracotta pot. It was much shorter when I got it last year, although it is still a shortie. 🌵PLEASE DON’T BE SHY, SHOW US YOUR #succs IN THE COMMENTS!🌵 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #SucculentLove #SucculentSquad #Succulents #Succulent #CactusClique #Cacti #Cactus #LadyFingerCactus #CylindricalSnakePlant #SnakePlant #SnakePlantSquad #Echeveria #LipstickEcheveria #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #repotting #GoldenTorch #PlantCorner #PlantShelfie #repotted #GrowingSuccs
