Hope everyone is having a good weekend, Im pretty busy this weekend! Today my grandma had a yard sale, so me & my boyfriend went to help as well as sell some things. We plan to use the money we made for our day trip to Carolina beach tomorrow! 🌊 I’m super excited since we haven’t been to the beach in a while & haven’t gone on a trip this year together. Although it’s not summer anymore and won’t be as warm, which means I most likely won’t be able to get in the water 😞 I’m still happy that I will get to see the water & sand as well as smelling the salt! 🏝️ My grandma was selling these plant stands & since I liked them she gave them to me. ( photos 1&3) she also gave me a pup from her Haworthia since I repotted it for her while I was there. 🌱 I also had a few plants I didn’t sell at the yard sale, so I kept them & repotted them when I got home. Happy Saturday, #GregGang ! Just wanted to share these adorable little air plant displays! Saw these shells laying around the house and just HAD to try this out. Ok, willing to entertain any ideas as to what to do with a bromeliad that was a gift 3 years ago that’s still alive loooong after the bloom died? I’ve been doing all the steps shown in pic. Mother plant is still alive showing no signs of dying 🪦 or producing any pups!!! 🫥😬😑. I recently saw a grouping of them in a terracotta bowl that looked nice. Maybe moving her to that would stimulate pups??? 😩 she’s like the Hoya kerrii leaf with no node 🤪 😆 😜. Or the zombie 🧟 leaf that does nothing 🤷‍♀️ Ideas welcome!!! #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #HappyPlants #Bromeliad

Happy #FreshLeafFriday everyone!! Thank goodness the weekend is finally here. It was a longgg week. It’s been extremely hot, & on top of that the storms & rain have caused a lot of chaos in the area. I got to repot two plants today, the first photo is one of them, my Bromeliad. Its middle has changed colors from Yellow to an Orange-ish, Red color. It has 4-5 babies (second photo) that are getting bigger by the day, 😊🪴 I also got to repot my SOH but haven’t gotten a photo yet. 3&4. Waikiki Elephant Ears are doing great they have grown a lot since I got it, and have produced so many babies! I love the coloring on them. 🌿 5. My African Milk Tree is really starting to fill out, and seems to like its spot right now. It’s one of my favorite plants for sure. Happy #succulentsaturday Sharing some of my Haworthia collection (I currently have 7). I love how simple they are to care for, & how funky they can look. There are just so many different types! 🥰🪴 I repotted two of them today, I hadn’t repotted them since before winter so it was time, I moved the pot size up about half a size bigger than the pot it was in. I also fertilized them and gave them fresh new dirt 👏🏻. I keep my haworthia inside in my Northeast Window sill, they get afternoon sun and a some morning sun. But not as much as my other succulents because haworthia prefer less light, in fact they do better in lower lighting. Picture Five is a Bromeliad, not a haworthia. I wanted to share the babies it was growing at the base! I couldn’t believe it had multiple babies, I didn’t think it was growing very much or that it was doing well until I noticed the new growth. It’s my first time owning one, so I’m learning about what it likes and doesn’t. I have placed it beside a humidifier, because I read that they enjoy humidity since it’s a tropical plant. I also have it under a grow light, and don’t let it dry out for very long. 1. Haworthia Mirabilis Mundula 2. Star Cactus 3. Crowded Haworthia 4. Haworthia 5. #bromeliad Can someone help me identify this plant? It was listed as a cryptobergia bromeliad, however neither Greg nor Google identify the cryptobergia portion of the name. According to the seller, the flowers are starting shaped with green, white and purple stripes and form inside the center of the plant. Thanks for any help you can give.

Newfound love for #bromeliad Got a newfound addiction to bromeliads! Meet these two: The tiger-striped one is an Aechmea chantinii 'black', or Amazonian Zebraa plant. The smaller one is a Neoregelia Cryptanthus 'Café au Lait' (Coffee with milk - due to the color its leaves get). It's in a very small pot and doesn't get very big like the other one. Got them in clearance but they're super heallthy, planted in orchid bark, charcoal, and coco coir, and already showing improvement.
