I took a cutting from my Weeping Fuji Cherry bonsai back at the end of June, and finally earlier this week I was able to transplant it into its own pot with bonsai soil. I’m happy with the progress, which is quite slow but steady… my #Juniper has handled it like a champ, still strong and growing! So i recently bought this #AmericanJuniper as a Pre-Bonsai😁 Its my first time attempting this, I’ve done my research on the topic, but well you know, it’s still a first time. As you can see in the pictures I have part of the wire-work done, also did some trimming (although not so drastic). We’ll see how it turns out! Patiences I guess. It’s successfully rooted and is actively growing. Today I slip-potted it from its 3 cm pot into a slightly larger 4 cm one to help maintain its miniature bonsai style. I think this pot suits the tree well. Makes it a more feminine tree. Too bad it’s between bloom cycles right now because it would be so pretty.
