Hey I’m back with something cool! It’s Wednesday, and we are halfway through our week! Now it is time to decompress from all your worries and stress, for a new tag is here, #refreshwednesday! Honestly this tag is just to talk about plant related things to refresh and restart after half a week kind of just chill out? Y know. And now, How are you doing today, I’d really like to know! Honestly the week has been stressful with loads of work put on me 😥 but this community is all I need to make my day! Anyway, on to plant related things, have you heard about how to fix you’re spider plant? Last week I completely obliterated spider plants here on #PlantRant , but I just heard the ultimate way! I’ve heard water conditioners do the trick! I’m ordering some, that’s one worry to take off my list! So… miracle grow. Killer or just not great? Well it depends on the type! Sometimes different types affect different plants! and you know I should do a test on that 🧐🧐🧐! But main point: killer or just not the best choice? Well, I’m happy with either opinions, one might say it’s a killer, and while I don’t necessarily agree, we all can have different opinions! I think it’s good if your just starting, but in the long run, it’s not the best choice. All it does is speed up growth and make leaves flimsier. So, my answer? Yes and kind of no. Something cool about alocasias is when it’s wintery or cold, you don’t really have to worry about brown tips or dropping of leaves, because there’s usually 1-2 leaves. Since they are in dormancy, they’re saving energy! Just a little thing I like! For this one, I’d like your thoughts and opinions! What do you think is the most controversial plant? For me, I’d go cathlea. You either love them or hate them with a burning passion. It’s mostly for me, the spider mites. Their favorite plant to hitchhike on! What do you think 🤔 I’d like to know! And this is Luke signing off, have a great rest of your week, and stick around for… THE PLANT RANT! Every Sunday! #SpiderPlant #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PropagationStation #PlantCorner #PestControl #PlantLove #TropicalPlants #SpiderPlantBabies #SpiderPlants #MiracleGro #Miraclegrow #Fertilizer #AlocasiaAddicts #Alocasia #AlocasiaPolly #AlocasiaSilverDragon #AlocasiaPinkDragon #Calathea #CalatheaCrew #CalatheaFreddie #calatheacare #brunchataudreys #GregGang #Greggers

My morning routine has unveiled a group we may be missing: #MostDramaticPlant And so it was born. This is a group for any plant species where we can come together and share pictures and stories of our divas, tantrum throwers, and /or perplexing plant growths. At first I thought maybe pick a week day and do a contest. But then I realized how much fun it would be to share them when it happened. If we get a large following and there are enough regularly occurring phenomenons we can add the contest aspect. So, I have for you the first offering. As I checked my plants this morning, I saw what I thought was a random dead leaf stuck to the bottom of an #alocasiapinkdragon pup’s pot. Silly me. 😑 What I’ve actually got is one stem coming out of the top, and another coming out of a drainage hole… and the leaf is unfurling. If you look closely at the first pic you’ll see both, the 2nd is a close up of the random drainage growth. I’m at a loss for words. I haven’t repotted yet. I need to think about this one so I don’t break anything. Let’s see your plants that never disappoint to entertain, stress, or perplex! Also, would love to hear if anyone has had the same situation as mine. That was a pup taken off of the mother plant and potted in fresh aroid mix so no possibility of more than 1 corm/pup in there. Join me plant friends! This should be a fun group 🤩🥳 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth 😂😂😂 (that tag really made me laugh here) #ThanksToMyPlantINeedTherapy (what the heck, I’ll start this one too 🫠🥳) #corinne #PlantsThatMakeYouGoHmm (might as well throw this one in too)
