Tips and Tricks for Posting or Asking Questions (for new to the app Plant Parents) #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #greggerssupportinggreggers Welcome Everyone! We're glad you're here 💚🤗 #1 Hashtags - The best way to get your questions answered and seen by all members on the app is to use #Hashtags in your post. Hashtags are basically groups that you can join in regards to your interests or by which plants that you own. So when posting make sure you add the # of the individual plant that you are posting about as well as groups with the most members. You can do that by typing a # somewhere in your post or by clicking the 4th button at the bottom of your post. A list will pop up, click on the groups with the most members in them and don't forget to join those groups as well. You can join by clicking on ANY of the hashtags you see posted on others posts and by clicking Join! #2 Plant Info - To make it easier to answer your questions, add your individual plants info by first going to your Oasis and clicking on your plant that you have a question about. Scroll down and you will see Ask A Question that will add pertinent information about your plant making it easier to help diagnose your plants problem. Or by clicking on the 1st button down at the bottom of your post. #3 Current Pic of your plant - Be sure to attach a current picture of your plant in order for everyone to be able to properly assist in diagnosing your plant. It helps to physically see what your plant looks like. You can do this by clicking the 2nd button at the bottom of your post. #4 One more tip...You can edit your post after saving by using the 3 ••• next to your post if necessary. Thanks everyone! #PlantMail today! Got my #1 wishlist plant (for now) - meet my new Anthurium veitchii! These are natural from Colombia's rainforests, used to high humidity. I got a small/medium (more medium-sized, in my opinion) specimen from my usual vendor, so already got leaves about the size of a hand. A mature individual can grow to 2-6 ft. tall, 3-4 ft. wide. And the more incredible: The leaves of an Anthurium veitchii can grow up to four feet long and 40 centimeters wide! Just got my #1 dream plant. #PlantMail Meet Antônio, my #Aglaonema 'pictum' Tricolor. This has been my number one dream plant since I started collecting plants. However, it was simply too expensive in Brazil. I finally found a baby specimen on sale, from my usual vendor/consultant, for a pretty reasonable price. The only downside is I will have to wait a pretty long time until it develops into what we are used to imagining when we think of this plant. The upside is... well, pretty much EVERYTHING else. Disappointed 😔😔 Man I got some disappointing news this morning. This is dangerously good! #GregPlantShop I have made order #1 and purchased this beautiful red aglaonema. Looking at the light requirements confirmed that this is the perfect plant for my house. Photo 2 is some of the other plants I that I love and may order before the day is done. The whole process is just too easy. Free shipping is so nice! Ordering plants by mail gets expensive. Happy Friday Friends! So this morning while watering my little plant babies..Noticed we have some things happening 😍😍 Pic #1 is “Grape” she is a beautiful #HaworthiaCooperi and is starting to flower at her stock.. I’m excited to see them in full bloom.. 🕺🕺 Pic #2 is CoCo an amazing #MoonCactus with flowers starting to slowly come out from her top Pic#3 is “Forrest” a #RedOrchidCactus with her flower coming is as well..she was a clipping so very excited about this one 😍😍 And last but not least.. New #Succulents for #WhatTheSuccWednesday 🌿🤗 My first time ordering from Mountain Crest Gardens, they are really dry/dehydrated but nothing a good soak can’t fix! I also had a few damaged leaves but that’s okay, considering they were in the mail for a while & it’s nothing too bad.. but as far as ordering plants (succulents) online Planet Desert remains #1 for me! 🌵🫶🏻 1. Sedum Clavatum 🌿 2. Echeveria ‘Green Pearl’ (my favorite in this order so far) 💚 3. Graptoveria ‘Debbie’ (love her colors already) 💜 4. Perle Von Nurnberg (I recently lost mine to powdery mildew 😫) 5. Echeveria ‘Atlantis’ 🌱 6. Graptopetalum ‘Superbum’ (not pictured) will post in comment section. Out of all the plants in the shipment she sadly took the most damage..
