My plant is pale what do I do! #SnakePlants

Please help me welcome my new plant baby DEMI 🩷 !! A little backstory: In April of this year I lost everything in a house fire. ☹️ EVERYTHING… including all of my plant babies that’s on my profile. This was one of the most devastating and depressing experiences I’ve been through in life. I haven’t deleted them yet bc I wanted to come back to my page to find a little joy despite what I’ve been going through. Well, I’m finally furnishing my new place and purchased my first new plant in my new home! She is such a beauty and I cannot wait to rebuild my plant collection. Looks nothng like it used to when it was 4m away from the window, is it rootbound?

My snake plant has several stalks that got a spot on them and then those spots grow until that stalk starts to fall over. Should I cut them at the base when that happens? Thanks!
