Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this pup to grow up out of the soil instead of sideways?

I need for the snake plant to stand up straight. I’m sure it’s drooping for a reason.

All - I think my snake plant may have the following issues, given the curled leaves, leave that is growing diagonally •over watered •perhaps scale? •pups potentially causing the plant to grow sideways •root rot maybe? Can anyone confirm?
