Any ideas on how to cure black dots and yellow marks?

Should I chop off its head? Ughhh

I need all advice and experience with Fiddle Leaves! They hate me!

Burnt leaves

Hello Everyone! ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿพ I did it. ๐Ÿ˜ฉ I chopped my Fig Tree #Sahara by a foot and still think it's not enough. It's my 1st time propagating this plant that WAS 6 1/2ft tall before I cut it, coming from a wittle bitty 1ft tall. 3 yrs. I want him to GROW, EXPAND and start over from wherever it is now. I cut the bottom leaves off, put 6 notches near the nodes, misted it wonderfully, put the top of my #figtree in distilled water. I sent my prayers to the universe. New to being a fig plant mom. Never had any issue but today I noticed some flies around the soil in my pot, besides that the plant is healthy, no odor , no noticeable decay โ€ฆ any ideas or tips on what it might be?

I made a few notches on my leggy Fiddle Leaf Fig a month and a half to two months ago. I remember reading that it would take about 5 weeks before seeing any signs of new growth (if it even worked) but felt I had made cuts in her for nothing. As it approached and passed 5 weeks, I couldnโ€™t tell that anything was happening. A few days ago, I noticed a node by one of the notches I made and another on further up the trunk. I also have a bonus node starting to grow on the other trunk and a baby offshoot at the bottom of the main one. Iโ€™m a happy #FiddleLeafFig mom! #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #NewGrowth
