Why was this strawberry plant pot not growing properly?

Why are my leaves yellowing? The flower buds have also died. When I first got it I didn’t put it in any soil or water for 1 days, then I repotted it. If I don’t water it everyday the leaves get worse.

Had a nice little harvest today!! Usually my 3yo eats them as soon as they appear ripe, but somehow we were able to accumulate a small batch 🍓🍓🍓 Also found a few nicely established babies hiding under the canopy — going to attempt to transplant to individual pots 😬 #CaliforniaStrawberry #PropagationStation #OutdoorGrowing
