My plant caught a bug!!! Delightful news! My vft caught her first bug, I’m very pleased and happy with this as I was getting nervous starting to think about feeding her manually, but I don’t have to! She did it herself!! Great job! Now comes the waiting game of if the trap will open again or not. I was under the assumption that the traps were a one time use, but they’re not? It could turn brown or it could open up again, idk but googling said it be about a week to digest. This is her first time so I really don’t know how long it’ll take to eat the bug. But I’m so happy with her!! #VenusFlyTrap #HappyPlants

After months of meticulous placement everyday I finally have a trap that’s not burnt. But I do have a few that are curled upside down. Do I just need to get a new pot or is there something else I need to do.
