How do o trim the brown spots

#TillandsiaXerographica Noticed that one of my air plants is sprouting roots when watering it today. Is it yearning for the dirt life? Or is it having a baby 😂 or what?

Xerographica in ICU I COULD LITERALLY KILL MY DOG... Seriously, she's lucky I didn't have an axe to throw. I have no idea if this air plant has any chance whatsoever, but it's sitting on my plant shelf with high hopes.

I think my friend here got crown rot.

My Xero seems to be drying out. I spray her until completely wet, turn upside down to dry after shaking her out. But still seems to be getting dry. Any ideas? I sent a message to my seller and they seem to thin she’s healthy. Can someone help?
