Shyness Blushing Philodendron Grow light 5.0ft to light West 6.0" pot No drainage Metal Regular Indoor View @Olalaopal's Oasis #Philodendron Discussion This precious little one has been through quite a few ups and downs. Although Phil isnβt quite βlittleβ he became a part of the family through adoption about 10mos ago. He was absolutely beautiful when I brought him home, but then he started growing brown spots in the middle of the leaves and along the edges. A few of the leaves even split right down the middle. Iβve had to remove two just this week (two very large ones). They began to change colors and I thought it was that blushing orange/red; but then suddenly it was brown and withered. I felt the stems and they were very soggy. Most of the stems are firm. As my fingers traveled down the stem, it just snapped right off like it has been overwatered. I was quite surprised though, because it did t happen to the whole plant. Now Iβm seeing (what looks like) flowering or new babies sprouting. Does this #BlushingPhilodendron look healthy? #NewPlantMom #PlantsMakePeopleHappy Can I keep my plant in a water bowl? When I bought it from the garden area of my store the plant was in a water bowl I bought it recently so Iβm not sure if I should move it to a soil pot yet because itβs pretty young PLANT ID and question Good Morning, Greggers, I hope everyone had an amazingly blessed weekend. I have a question for anyone who may be skilled in caring for #BlushingPhilodendron (not sure if Iβm still considered a #NewPlantMom , but itβs been about 9months). Anyway, about my #BlushingPhilodendron; he was absolutely beautiful when I adopted him in October, 2024. I believe I placed him too close to the window [not direct sunlight, but kinda off to the side of the window]. Anywayβ¦I was wondering, are those dry brown spots a result of βsunburnβ? Iβve moved him several times since, and would like to believe heβs in a good spot nowπ€·πΎββοΈ I follow the recommendations in the app and just hope theyβre steering me towards progress. Thanks for chiming in. Hi! I have a few plants that have been in the water vase for over a year. Nice and green. Plenty roots but no growth. If I transfer to soil pots will they die? Help! I bought two of these plants. One is flourishing and the other looks like this. What can I do to save it. I did not know that Philodendron flowers! Check this thing out! what exactly is this plant First-time parent of a Blushing Philodendron, and Iβm worried that Iβve done something wrong! A few of her leaves have started to discolor, from the edges inward, and Iβm not sure what to do! Never had this happen on another plant π«£ My plantsβ leaves are turning brown. What could be the problem? I water it once every week, the soil is wet right now but not soaking wet. Could it be because of the lack of sunlight? I just placed it near a window, where it will get sunlight (not direct) for most of the day. What else can i do to save it?
