#FiddleLeafFig Discussion

This is figgy smalls after I topped him last month. I was really starting to get depressed at how he went from this gorgeous green marvel down to a stick in the mud. I was starting to think it was a mistake to prune him, and then I noticed these little green specks towards the top of his stem. This is a good sign, yes? 🀞🏻🀞🏻🀞🏻

- Progress from 4/24 - Present for Mr. Harry… In April my mom gave me her FLF to rehab as it just started losing leaves and she didn’t want to deal with it. Little did I know this would be the learning opportunity I really needed πŸ˜‚ So here’s the timeline… 1st pic - 4/24 (day given to me) 2nd pic - 6/21 - I’ve watched every possible video out there at this point & im at a loss so I chop the top not knowing the chopped piece would never grow taller… only bushier πŸ˜πŸ˜‚ - THIS FAILED HORRIBLY. I was ready to give up & so I let the damn thing just SIT on the front porch. For weeks. I watered the β€œbranch” maybe twice. 3rd pic - 7/16 - i came outside to water the plants & found this!! 4th pic - 7/23 - Repotted in a much smaller pot as my mom had it in a huge ceramic pot & now watching it grow! Lets here it for growth & learning!! I’m here for it! More updatess for Harry to come! #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #FiddleLeafFig #NewGrowth #PlantTherapy #PLANTMAFIA

Browning on leaves

What’s happening here?

Hello everyone! I'm so happy to see this!! Alright, remember when I posted that I was scared to cut her a few weeks ago? 😰 Well, look at what's become of "Figgy" aka Sahara as of this week! Oh my word! She's branching out! 😁 I didn't expect to see results so fast but my goodness! I couldn't be happier! πŸ’ƒπŸΎπŸ’ƒπŸΎπŸ’ƒπŸΎ #plantsmakepeoplehappy #newgrowth #fiddleleaffig

The leaves are brown on tips. Seams it needs more water! Thank you in advance. Help please.

Tips for repotting a fiddle leaf fig? I just got it and it looks like the roots are out growing the pot it’s in. Would repotting it now be to much stress at once on it?
