After I trimmed her leaves she started blooming flowers left and right, I knew I did the right thing!! I'm so sad 😭 these kids I think were trying to help, they're under the age of 10-4 they pour water 🌊 allover my plants!! I couldn't save her. mad/sad

My son bought her for me on mother's Day! I was in love instantly, doing so well at keeping her alive, allowing her flowers to bloom,by trimming her leaves back a bit because she was so busy keeping her leaves green that her flowers were littletoNONE

My dahlia bloomed! She bloomed a couple of days ago and I have been taking pictures to see how big and beautiful she would get. I was really worried I wouldn't get a bloom before the first frost this year due to having to remove probably 75% of her leaves from a nasty pest issue. Plants are so amazing with how determined they are to survive even with some unfortunate circumstances along the way!! #happyplants #newgrowth #gardendahlia #greggang

I was all excited to show you that my #Dahlia has opened its first #bloom! But, my #dogsofgreg decided he was more important.
