How do I care for this plant? I’m really trying to keep it alive

I just got an air plant and I have literally no clue how to care for it. My room does not get direct sunlight but I do get a good amount. Please send advice πŸ™πŸ™

#plantboosttuesday for October 22, 2024

I have previously posted about water (particularly distilled water for eg carnivorous plants and other mineral-sensitive plants) and came across this article which looks at similar issues about drinking water as our plants aren't the only ones that need healthy water choices. https:// #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #propagationstation #newgrowth #greggang #plantmafia #water #h2o #theamigos #seymour

Is my air plant growing a baby ?

The first comes from the CEO of Greg App, Alex. Alex gave a great interview with Rose Red @LaSiguanaba )and myself where he talk ed about the importance of plans β€œgrounding us” and needing them in our lives. This reminded me of the Romantic poet, Samuel Taylor Coleridge (The Ancient Mariner) who wrote a poem about nature and finding connection to it (the interview with Alex explains how the name Greg is connected to plants…who knew!?!) As Dr Wikipedia says: "This Lime-Tree Bower My Prison" is a poem written by Samuel Taylor Coleridge during 1797. The poem discusses a time in which Coleridge was forced to stay beneath a lime tree while his friends were able to enjoy the countryside. Within the poem, Coleridge is able to connect to his friend's experience and enjoy nature through him, making the lime tree only a physical prison, not a mental one. So as I looked around an ordinary shop, I could find all kinds of connections to plants and nature as I share in the photos below. So what connections did you find today or in yours days to plants and nature in your ordinary experience that give you a plant or nature boost?
