Gabrielle started out as 3 cuttings from my sister's huge mother plant. She traveled from Florida to Missouri on an airplane. She lost all but a few small leaves. She ended up in my kitchen in some water to grow more roots. Once she was ready, I planted her into soil. A few months later and now look at her! I do so love a good begonia leaf and these are STUNNING. I am propagating this beauty from a stem clipping I snatched from work. Leaves are popping up, yay! The plant isn't sending out more leaves, the leaves are growing larger! Is this a thing?

I've had my begonia for about a year and topped it because it had no leaves below and was 4' tall. It started getting new leaves and looked great but now they are all falling off before maturity. Same with me clippings I started from it😞. Help!
