Just got a new plant and I’m definitely a beginner…I bought a new terracotta pot coming soon. What soil do I use? I see rocks are sometimes used as well…very new very confused😓

My partner let me pick out some new babies from MCG and he paid for them for our anniversary! We are on the struggle bus 💸 right now so I think it’s pretty awesome, plus look at the cool plants I scored ! A variegated ghost plant that looks like a pastel neon princess, two variegated cacti, ice plant which I’ve been coveting since I saw @vvvelo’s, a sweetheart Hoya and an Echeveria Dionysos. If I can keep the humidity in this place low enough, they are going to be ✨Gorgeous✨ I haven’t had time to pot anything yet but I’m hoping to get to it tomorrow. When should I give up on these seeds?

Wanted to share some pictures for #succulentsunday 🌿😊 1/2- a baby I found on my pachyphytum ‘Starburst’, this is its first baby it’s put off since I’ve had it. Yay! 3- Sedeveria ‘Dark Elf’ looks like it may be starting to grow a flower, it has grown one before and looked similar. 4- Lipstick Echeveria, I need yo repot this one but its leaves are looking much better after accidentally burning it when I first brought it back outside for summer 😬 5- Silver Snake Plant- is putting off a pup!
