Help please! Not sure what this is

Leaf Discoloration

How do I remove this safely and encourage it to grow?

celery stick is sprouting another leaf already!!! also i was wondering if having its seed out like this is a problem… i got it from walmart for 2 dollars and the corm was already out like this so i just pruned its leaves and roots and put it back how it was

my piece of celery(as my friend called it) he finally popped open 🥲🥰
