#Aglaonema Discussion

Hi, shellyjam50. New plant mom. I started this journey as grief therapy I lost my mom's 5-18-24. Found this on clearance at Lowe's. I hope to learn and connect to other plant parents. #plantsmakepeoplehappy #planttherapy #newplantmom #growlights #newplantmom

Wilting

Did I overwater?

My plant’s leaves are turning yellow. I don’t know what’s happening.

My plant is not thriving at all there were 3 sections when I originally bought her but I'm down to only two.

Do some leaves lack colour?

The leaves are wilting

My darling Scarlett is thriving! She went through a bit of a rough time adjusting to the humidity in my apartment but with daily misting she has really improved. She has quite a bit of new growth coming in now πŸ₯° #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #newgrowth #redsiamauroraaglaonema

New leaf tips browning and getting a little crispy. Bottom leaves looking wilty and not very happy. Discoloration in the older leaves. What do I do? Soil still moist. 6 feet from Southeast facing window.

Hey #GregGang ! and new plant parents, I don't know about y'all, but I love to repot my babies right after I buy them. Whether it be from a commercial store or a nursery. I find that in the past that all of the plants I would buy "new", would start dying shortly after. Now that I'm ~a little more~ experienced, I know that the causes could be root rot or overgrowth in their pots. The pics I have below are of my Red Siam that I bought from Walmart. The leaves were turning brown and falling off, I couldn't understand why. I was horrified to see that it was being suffocated by their starter pots, and that it was just shoved into a larger pot. Perfectly healthy roots, just not enough room. I separated them into three (tagged 1/3), and now it's flourishing in its own pot. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PlantTherapy
