Hephaestus is making a nice recovery! After just a day of sunlight his leaves aren't limp anymore, he was in a plastic sleeve but now he has plenty of room to spread he leaves. I even got him in a pot that matches his name😊

Found this little guy in the trash at work last night after my manager threw him away after never watering him so I took him home

I’m having a problem with my African violet!! She had a tough summer when we lost power for a week after a hurricane! She got over heated and dried out and then maybe went into shock? She got probably too much water after the drought and then got a little mushy so I trimmed off all off those leaves then removed from the pot and checked the roots which looked fine. Repotted her and she still doesn’t seem to drink well. Leaves are staying green and not falling off but no flowers and definitely looking sad. Any ideas would be so appreciated!!!

Our plant is growing beautifully after been transplanted, and with many beautiful flowers. Do we really need to fertilize?

My husband got my mother an African Violet arrangement for Mother's Day. While removing it from the box, a leaf broke off and I stuck it in soil. Two months later it is finally making new leaves!!! #happyplants #africanviolet #babyplants #patiencepaysoff
