#Dracaena Discussion

Jumping the gun on #freshleaffriday slightly, but the light is really good right now -- would you look at what Tokitae is up to! Entirely unexpected; I was actually worrying just a few weeks ago about her general condition... #draceana

Can I fix the rot here?

Whale Fin Yellow Spot

Introducing Ahni, my new whale fin snake plant. My husband gifted me this wish list plant for our 5th wedding anniversary. #WhaleFinSnakePlant #giftedplant #crazyplantlady

Odafin the #WhaleFinSnakePlant has a new shoot! They grow so slowly I didn’t notice, but I did see it today!

Her name is Tokitae and she lives in the Pacific Northwest. #iykyk

I have been wanting to replant this whale fin for a while due to soil compaction and being super hydrophobic at the top… Looks like this rhizome was looking for a way out. Hopefully there will be a new fin in the future! #SnakePlant

Just found these little root guys peeking out. They're blocking 2 of the drain holes of a 8inch pot that she hasn't been in long. Does this mean she needs a bigger pot? #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict

I Just got her and all her babies from the nursery. Nursery pot, soil and baby questions.

I’m so excited my long awaited whale fin came today!! I intended to put it in a smaller terracotta pot but the roots were so large I thankfully had this pot empty. And is this a baby? Should I cover it with soil? I have it on my coffee stand for now because it’s too big to go where I intended πŸ€ͺ I know they don’t need direct light but is indirect light from aprox 8ft away too little? Thanks!
