Why do the leaves on the bottom not go uo at night like the rest of the plant?

Can anyone tell me why the leaves are getting crispy? We switched to distilled water and it has a new leaf coming in. Not sure what to do here.

Dry leaves, wilting everyday, but new leaves keep sprouting.

New plant Mom here with a discovery! 😂 I’ve heard so many people say Calatheas are a pain in the rear. Well..I didn’t know that when I bought it 🤦🏽‍♀️, I just said “oooohh it’s pretty & purple!” Needless to say we’ve been a bit on the struggle bus. I accidentally burned her leaves having her to close to the window. I moved her, but noticed it wasn’t growing & got frustrated. Somewhere I read they like humidity, so I grab her & bring her in the bathroom with me when I shower. 4 days of this & now her leaves are shining more AND 2 new leaves FINALLY unfurled! This is probably old news for many, but hopefully will help someone not give up on their calathea. 🤣 #Calathea

What’s happening? My rose calathea is kinda wilting. Are rolling up by the leaves. Got any tips?

Hey guys. My calathea is basically completely dead with one leaf thriving … I wasn’t sure what root rot was at first but I do believe she has root rot .
