Y plant is getting burned leaves and hasn’t bloomed in while why??????

Hi, i bought this baby home about 6 weeks ago. Since however, the leaves are yellowing and its struggling not to droop. I live on the Gold Coast so its a tropical environment. Any tips as to caring for this plant?
