I just rescued an aloe from the trash. I repotted in a succulent mix and kept the good parts. olOne of them has a very yellow, but firm, stem and some new growth. I want to check if the yellow is normal. The roots are all fine, but very small.

Is there a way to save this plant? I think at some point I put too much water and since then I see white spots and salt like stuff growing on it. Now all the leaves have drooped. Is my plant dying? :(( any help appreciated
