Along with my Billietiae, I got this #philodendronsquamiferum who I am also REALLY excited about! The stems are so weird and cool. I saw this plant last week and I went back for it this week after seeing some pics of a more mature one that @GaryPoopins posted. 😆 Thanks! ALSO any tips?! Lol. I named this guy Shaitan (my husband says it's the origin of the word Satan and it means the old goat god on the mountain.) I asked him what name goes with Baphomet and that was his answer. The new growth didn’t make it I don’t believe.

Soft trunk? Hey guys so I have this hairy philodendron and it’s growing great!! Lots of new leaves! But I noticed when watering the other day that the trunk is soft. In other plants I know that can be a sign of overwatering or disease. But I’ve never cared for one of these plants and I can’t seem to find ANYTHING on Google. Does anyone know if I should be concerned, and if so what the problem might be?
